Most problems with Nest and other smart thermostats come from power: many need a common wire (C-wire) that older systems don't have. Some systems, like certain high-voltage baseboard heaters and millivolt systems, aren't compatible at all.
We check your HVAC system first, add a C-wire or the power adapter where needed, install and level the thermostat, and set up schedules, away mode and multiple zones.

Does a Nest need a C-wire?
Not always, but many systems work better with one. If you don't have one, we can add a wire or a power adapter at the HVAC unit.
Will a Nest work with my system?
Most forced-air and many heat pump and boiler systems work. Some high-voltage and millivolt systems don't. We check before installing.
