TV lift installation
The TV rises from a cabinet or drops from the ceiling when you want it, and disappears when you don't. We install and wire TV lifts and make them part of your remote or Control4.
TV lifts solve the rooms where a TV on the wall doesn't work: in front of a window with a view, at the foot of the bed, in a living room where the TV shouldn't be the focal point, or on a ceiling where there's no wall at all.
We plan the lift with the furniture or ceiling, check clearances and weight, run power and signal cables with enough slack for movement, and program the lift so one button raises the TV and turns it on.
Types
Which TV lift?
- Cabinet pop-up lifts: the TV rises from a console, often in front of a window
- End-of-bed lifts: the TV rises from a bench or chest at the foot of the bed
- Ceiling drop-down lifts: the TV folds down from a ceiling recess
- Swivel lifts: rise and rotate to face different seating

TV lift installation: common questions
Do you build the cabinet?
We work with your cabinet maker or furniture, or recommend lift-ready cabinets, and install the lift mechanism and electronics.
Can a ceiling lift go in a finished ceiling?
Often, depending on joist direction and space above. It needs planning and a recess or opening.
Can Control4 raise the TV?
Yes. The lift can be part of a Movie scene. See Control4 home theater.
