WattBox power protection installation
Protect your equipment and fix freezes remotely. WattBox surge protectors, power conditioners and battery backups keep racks, networks and TVs running, and let us reboot them from anywhere.
5.0 on Google · 60+ reviewsA power surge or brownout can damage expensive AV and network gear, and a frozen router or streaming box is one of the most common service calls. WattBox power products protect equipment and add remote control over each outlet, so a frozen device can be restarted from an app instead of a truck roll.
We install WattBox in racks and behind TVs, add battery backup for the network and security gear, and connect it to OvrC so we can monitor power and reboot devices remotely with your permission.

FAQ
WattBox power protection installation: common questions
What does remote reboot mean?
Each outlet can be switched off and on from an app. If a router or box freezes, it can be restarted remotely, often fixing the problem in minutes.
Do I need battery backup?
For the network, cameras and alarm gear, yes. A short outage shouldn't take your cameras and Wi-Fi down.
Does it work with Control4?
Yes. WattBox is part of the same Snap One family and works with OvrC and Control4.
Will a WattBox protect against lightning?
No surge protector can stop a direct strike, but good surge protection greatly reduces damage from the far more common surges and spikes.
