Why outdoor-rated matters
Regular TVs are not built for moisture, heat and cold. Outdoor TVs are sealed and designed for weather.
Brightness and glare
Sunlight washes out a normal screen. Outdoor TVs are brighter and often have anti-glare coatings. Placement also matters: think about where the sun is in the afternoon.
Covered or uncovered
Even on a covered patio, outdoor-rated equipment is the safer choice. Uncovered installs need equipment made to stay outside all year.
Power and Wi-Fi
Plan outlets, cable paths and Wi-Fi coverage. Outdoor access points keep streaming smooth.
