Sonos Arc installation and surround setup
A Sonos Arc sounds its best when it's mounted right under the TV, connected over HDMI eARC and paired with a Sub and rear surrounds that are placed and tuned for the room.
As a certified Sonos dealer we install the Arc and Arc Ultra as a soundbar on its own or as a full surround system with a Sub and rear speakers. Placement matters: centered under the TV, the right gap from the screen, and rear surrounds that don't block walkways.
We mount the soundbar and surrounds, hide the power and cables, connect everything to the TV's eARC port, set up the TV remote to control volume, and tune the room with Trueplay.

Can you mount the Arc on the wall with the TV?
Yes. We use the matching Sonos wall mount and center it under the TV, and hide the power and HDMI cables.
Do rear speakers need wires?
They connect wirelessly for sound but still need power. We place them near outlets or add power where needed.
My TV remote won't control the Arc volume. Can you fix it?
Usually it's a TV setting for HDMI control. We set it up so your TV remote controls Sonos volume.
