Need a new Control4 dealer?
If the company that installed your Control4 system closed, retired or stopped returning calls, we can take it over. You keep your system, and you get a local authorized dealer who answers the phone.
Authorized DealerA Control4 system is tied to the dealer who installed it. When that dealer disappears, owners often find they can't make changes, add a TV, fix a room that stopped working or renew remote access. That is one of the most common calls we get.
As an authorized Control4 dealer, we work with you and Control4 to move your system to our account with your permission. If the old dealer's project file is available we start from it. If it isn't, we document your system and rebuild the programming cleanly, often better organized than before.
How the takeover works

- With your OK, we request the transfer of your system to our dealer account
- A visit to test every room, fix what's broken and note what's out of date

Need a new Control4 dealer?: common questions
My Control4 dealer went out of business. What do I do?
Call an authorized Control4 dealer. We can request that your system be moved to our account with your permission, then support it like any system we installed.
Do I need the old dealer's permission?
No. You own the system. The transfer is done with your consent. If the old dealer is reachable we ask for the project file, which can save time, but it isn't required.
Will I lose my scenes and settings?
Not if the project can be recovered. If it can't, we rebuild your rooms and scenes. Many owners find the new setup simpler and more reliable.
Is my old system worth keeping?
In most homes, yes. The wiring and many devices have years left. If your controller is very old, an upgrade gets you current software while keeping the rest.
